SendMailDSGVO compliant

The fact that email encryption is a mandatory requirement under the GDPR for anyone who sends personal data by email - whether internally or externally - does not yet seem to have penetrated everywhere.

However, even users who are aware of the GDPR find it difficult to find a viable solution on the current market, because almost 95% of normal users cannot cope with the known encryption methods, such as PKI and PGP. On the other hand, the products available to date are either too expensive or too cumbersome.

On this basis, OLXSendMailDSGVO-compliant was developed together with a consultant in the field of DSGVO audits & expert opinions.

Our goal was to enable a product that meets the needs of our customers, and the resulting requirements were obvious - the solution must be very simple: no training, at most one briefing, no cryptic options to choose from, as few mouse clicks as possible, and it should cost as little additional (working) time as possible.

No changeover required

OLXSendMailDSGVOcompliant can be integrated directly into Outlook as an Outlook AddIn. When you click on the "Send" button, the OLXSendMailDSGVOcompliant interface appears with the encryption options - no PKI, PGP or other encryption method is required.

Flexible encryption options

When clicking the "Send" button, the type of encryption can be freely selected: no encryption, encrypt message text only or encrypt message text and attachments.

DSGVO compliant email sending

OLXSendMailDSGVOcompliant automatically creates a password-protected PDF from the message text. The e-mail is then sent with the PDF attachment and a replacement text instead of the original text.

Only the recipient can read the protected PDF document with the corresponding password - This ensures DSGVO-compliant sending of personal data even in the event of, for example, accidentally entered incorrect addressees. Of course, both the password and the replacement text are freely definable.

Global settings for all users

Encryption can also be controlled from a central location for all users. Via the registry, you can define that every e-mail is generally encrypted and that the user has no choice at all. This gives you complete control over compliance with DSGVO-compliant email encryption.
